Randel Tales is an adult visual novel developed by Bunis & Rin in which you get to meet many different people (mostly girls), go on many adventures with them and, who knows, maybe even get to bed a few of them?

Randel Tales Beta 1.6.10 Guide

This is a guide of Randel Tales Beta 1.6.10 maintained by Rin.

Mechanics:
    Level: Go to the forest and kill monsters or complete quests. To reach the next level you will need an amount of exp equal to your current level raised by the power of 2.

    Sword Skill & Archery Skill: Go to the academy and train at the arena.
    Magic Skill: Go to the library and study with Lori or go to the Magical Arts class.

Sword, Archery, and Magic skill all require their own XP to level up. 

    Money: Killing boars (+5 money until level 10, then +20 money), completing quests (variable), and selling special times (variable).

    Skipping QTEs and Minigames: All QTEs are skippable if you’ve reached a high-enough level in a certain stat; the same goes for the minigames, though the ones against Taliya are not skippable.

Quests:
The Way of the Voyeur:

1. Go to the guild.
2. Go to the Merchant’s shop when you reach 30 silver and buy an eye orb.
3. Ask Scarlet about the invisibility spell.
4. Get your magic skill to level 1.
5. Go into the academy and select “Peeping time!”
6. Once you’re done, return to Sander and give him the eye orb.
7. Select “Yeah, I did”.

A Golden Opportunity:

1. Talk with Evelyn and select “Guess who’ll be joining your party soon?” / “Guess who’s joining your party?”
2. Go to the library and read about the “Golden Eagle”.
3. Go to Uncle Pete’s hut and ask to borrow some paint.
4. Train the archery skill to 1.
5. Go into the forest and hunt 3 Golden Eagles.
6. Return to the guild and tell Evelyn you did it.

Wallcrawler infestation:

1. Read about the quest on the Quest Board.
2. Go to the library and read about the “Wallcrawler”.
3. Go to the merchant and buy camping gear
4. Go back to the Quest Board, select the quest and select “Start quest”.
5. Selecting “I’m Tough” or “Don’t Worry” doesn’t change the outcome.
6. Select “Aim for the head” if your sword level is 5 or higher. Otherwise select “Aim for the heart”.
7. Selecting “I was thinking of something else…” will give you an h-scene but you will miss out on 200 silver coins that can be obtained by taking the diamond and selling it at Mervin’s shop. 

Delivery Quest:

1. Read about the quest on the Quest Board.
2. Go to the library and read about the “Imp”.
3. Go back to the Quest Board, select the quest and select “Start quest”.
4. Don’t select “Sell all the crystals”.
5. Select “Save her”.
6. Select “Use the crystals”.
7. Letting her go on or calming down doesn’t affect the outcome.

Fetch Quest:

1. Complete the optional event at the end of Gabrial’s route.
2. Select “Fine, I’ll help” because it’s nicer 🙂  (It changes nothing)
3. Select any option
4. Put in any name. Putting Taliya twice will result in a game over.
5. Select “Westian”
6. Select any question to unlock the option that says “That’s all” to continue.

Elf Village Quest:

1. Reach level 2 in the sword skill.
2. Go on a quest with Evelyn and Sander by talking to Eve after having joined their party.
3. Wait a few days.
4. Select any of the dialogue options.
5. Visit the Graveyard in the Elf Village.
6. Visit the Temple and ask Milly about Aerin.
7. Go visit Aerin.
8. Select “Help her”.
9. Go back to Aerin’s house.
10. Select “Prettiest girl”. 
11. Select “Try to find another way”.
12. Rest at Eve’s home until night.
13. Select “Sneak in”.
14. Go ask Scarlet about seals.
15. Select the third seal.
16. Go back to Zenelith’s house.
17. Go to the prison and ask Nessa about Zenelith’s house.
18. Go to Zenelith’s house once again.
19. Hide.
20. Talk to Sander at the guild to get the Eye Orb back.
21. Ask Scarlet for help with the priestess.
22. Go back to Scarlet the day after.
23. Go to Zenelith’s house.
24. Choosing “Teach her a lesson” will result in an h-scene but will lock off one of her two paths later in the game.
25. Go back to the village.
26. Select any of the dialogue options.

Guild Quest:

1. Go to the guild.
2. Reach level 5 by hunting monsters in the forest to unlock the Quest Board.
3. Reach Bronze rank by hunting monsters and completing quests on the Quest Board.

Storylines:

In order of when you can begin them.

Lori:

1. Reach level 1 in your magic skill (it is recommended to do so with Lori as you’ll get special dialogues if you do so)
2. Reach level 5 in the guild.
3. Go study with Lori.
4. Select any option.
5. Go study with Lori.
6. Select any option.
7. Go study with Lori.
8. Go study with Lori.
9. Select any option.
10. You can go and ask Gabe, July, or generally at the Academy, about Lori. You can skip this.
11. Head back to the Library and apologize to Lori.
12. Go to the library and convince Lori to go adventuring.
13. Go talk with Gabe about taking care of the Library.
14. Go to the library in the morning.
15. Select any option.
16. Go to the library and either talk to Lori or study.
17. If you’ve previously selected the option to not like her, turning her down at this point will end her route.
18. If you don’t turn her down, go to the Market the next day during the afternoon.
19. Select any option.
20. Go to the library.
21. Select any option. If you turn Lori down her route will end there. 
22. Keep studying with Lori until she invites you to her bedroom at night during one of your studying sessions.
23. Go visit her at night.

Gabrial:

1. Complete ‘The Way of the Voyeur’ quest.
2. Go to the academy in the afternoon on day 5.
3. Select “No”.
4. Select “I wouldn’t do that”.
5. Select “You’re right”.
6. Go to the library and ask Lori for a history book.
7. Go to the academy and meet with Boris in the evening.
8. Study at home the history of Randel.
9. Go visit Gabrial at her home in the evening.
10. Select any of the dialogue options.
11. Select any of the first two options from the top.
12. The answers are the following:
    -James Randel;
    -Its rich soil;
    -340 years.
13. Study at home the history of Astylla
14. Go visit Gabrial at her home in the evening.
15. Select any of the first two options from the top.
16. The answers are the following:
    -Rem and Ron;
    -Prince Rem;
    -Sir Gladius Hans.
17. Select any of the first two options from the top.
18. Select “It’s not about the age”.
19. Wait until the test day. The answers are the following:
    -340 years;
    -James Randel;
    -Its rich soil;
    -Randelton;
    -Ron;
    -Rem;
    -Mountains of Arp;
    -Sir Gladius Hans;
    -The Final Hern Siege;
    -Dwarves.
20. Reach level 10.
21. Check the Quest Board at the guild, select “Investigate Goblin Camp” and then “Start the Quest”.
22. Select any of the dialogue options.
23. Select “I can’t do it”.
24. If Gabe asks you whether you run into that sort of trouble in your quests, do not answer “When other girls cause it, yes”
25. Select “Because I can help people”.
26. Selecting “I’d rather be regular friends” will end the route.
27. After this you can go to the Academy and go again to the Goblin camp which will unlock Taliya’s route. This is required to progress in the game’s overarching story.
    1. Select “Close the lid.”
28. Go to Gabe’s house in the evening and train her.
    -Finger her 3 times;

-Go to the academy and then go to the classroom;
-Buy a dildo at Mervin’s and use it on her 3 times.

1. Go to her house in the evening and have a picnic.
2. Selecting “I love you too” or “I don’t know what to say” and then “I do” will lead you to the Committed Ending. This changes nothing as of right now but will in the future. To get the True Ending, choose “I can’t commit like that”.
3. Select “I don’t want to settle down”.
4. Select any of the last two options from the top.
5. Select any besides “It scares me too” or “I can’t be sure if you’re the right one”.
6. Select any option.

Taliya:

1. Complete the Fetch Quest after completing the optional event at the end of Gabrial’s route.
2. Go do melee training at the Academy.
3. Go do melee training at the Academy in the evening.
4. Repeat step 3 until you beat Taliya.
5. Select “Just say thanks” if you don’t like reading the dialogue I write.
6. Go to the market.
7. If you didn’t select “Just say thanks” earlier, select “Apologize”.
8. Select any option.
9. Go to the arena.
10. Go to the market in the morning.
11. Select any option.
12. Select “I’m sorry, Taliya”.
13. Select the clamps and the butt plug.
14. Select any option.
15. Select “Do what you have to do”.
16. Select any option.
17. Select any option again.
18. After 3 days, go to the arena.
19. Go to the market in the morning.
20. If your sword level is 4 or higher, you will skip the minigames, otherwise you’ll have to play through them.
21. Select “Leave”.
22. Select any option.
23. Wait at least two days and go to the market in the morning.
24. Wait four days and go to the arena.
25. Go to the guild in the evening.
26. Select either option. They will give you different h-scenes. If you choose “Try to walk away” don’t choose “walk away” afterwards.
27. After Taliya has left, if you go to sleep 10 days later, you will dream of her and get an extra scene,

Cynthia:

1. During the introduction look around class, alternatively go to the academy after the introduction to meet her.
2. Talk with her at the academy.
3. [Recommended] Get your sword level to 8
4. Go to the guild.
5. Select “Save her”.
6. Saying nothing and mentioning her nakedness doesn’t affect the outcome.
7. If your sword level is 3 or above you will skip the QTE section.
8. Select “Cut off its arms”.
9. Go to the guild.
10. Select any of the dialogue options.
11. Select any of the dialogue options.
12. Talk to Cynthia in the afternoon at the guild.
13. Train with Cynthia in the evening until you finally match her pace. (Takes less if the playful trait is selected at the start of the game)
14. Meet with Cynthia in the evening at the guild and go on a monster hunt.
15. Select “Be bait”.
16. Go into the forest.
17. If your sword level is 4 or above you will skip the minigames.
18. Try counting.
19. Progress in July’s storyline.
20. Go to the guild in the afternoon.
21. Wait a few days.
22. Select “No”.
23. Go to the Academy.
24. Go to the guild in the evening and talk with Cynthia.
25. Finish Thea’s storyline.

Thea:

1. Complete the Delivery Quest.
2. Ask one of the girls at the academy to lend you clothes for Thea
3. Retrieve the clothes in the afternoon.
4. The next day select “Talk with Thea”.
5. Select any of the dialogue options.
6. Wait a few days.
7. At night, go into her room and pull down the sheets. Go talk with Sander about stealth training and train with him in the evenings until you can undress Thea entirely.
8. Go check on Thea during the day.
9. Select any option.
10. Tell Thea about dinner with Sander and Eve.
11. Tell Thea about dinner with Sander and Pete.
12. Ask Thea about having dinner between just the two of you.
13. Go buy wine at Mervin’s shop.
14. Tell Thea about having dinner together.
15. Wait until night at home.
16. Select any of the dialogue options.
17. Go to the tavern at the market.
18. Select any of the options.
19. Find Thea a job at the guild.
20. Tell Thea about the job.
21. Go to the guild in the evening.
22. Finish Cynthia’s storyline.
23. Sleep with Thea and tell her about Cynthia.
24. Go to the guild in the evening and tell Cynthia about Thea.
25. Go to the guild again before the evening.
26. Wait a few days then go to the guild again in the evening.
27. Choosing to tell Sander or not doesn’t change the outcome.
28. Choose any of the dialogue options.
29. If you’ve had sex with any other girl, an option will appear to tell Cynthia and Thea about them too. Choosing it won’t change the final outcome.
30. Wait 8 days and then go home in the evening.

July:

1. After the bronze rank party, go to the guild at night.
2. Select “Trust her”.
3. The next day return to the guild in the evening and talk with July.
4. Finish Cynthia’s storyline.

Megan:

1. After the bronze rank party, go back to the guild.
2. If you haven’t done Triss’ quest, you might need to go through Triss’ first scene and then go to the forest again.
3. Afterwards go to the guild in the evening, go to the guild quarters and talk with her.

Triss:

1. After the bronze rank party, go to the forest.
2. Don’t ignore her.
3. Buy a bug net.
4. Go back to the forest in the afternoon.
5. Catch at least 3 butterflies.
6. Press “Resist”.
7. Afterwards go to the guild in the evening, go to the guild quarters and talk with her.
8. Reach Bronze rank in less than 21 days and complete Cynthia’s route up to step 18.
9. Go to the Guild in the morning after day 30.
10. Select “Walk up to Her”.
11. Select any choice.

Evelyn:

1. Complete the guild quest.
2. Go to the Guild in the evening and talk with Eve.
3. Select “I’m ready let’s go”.
4. Select “Yeah”.
5. Select any of the two dialogue options.
6. Select “Dodge it”.
7. Select any of the dialogue options.
8. Complete the Elf Village questline
9. Meet Eve at her guild quarters.
10. Choose any of the dialogue options.
11. Go back to her quarters in the evening.
12. Choose “Let her die”.
13. Choose “Don’t help her”.
14. Go to the guild the next day.
15. Go back to her quarters in the evening.
16. Selecting “Yes” or “No” won’t change the outcome.
17. Go back to her quarters in the evening.
18. Choose any of the dialogue options.

Nessa:

1. Complete the Elf Village quest.
2. Go to the prison.
3. Wait 4 days and then go back to the prison.

Aerin:

1. Complete the Elf Village quest.
2. Go to the Elf Village’s temple and talk with Aerin.
3. Keep going at her temple and staying.

Zenelith:

1. Go into the forest 7 days after completing the Elf Village storyline.
2. Selecting “Run” or “Fight” does not change the outcome.
3. Selecting “Kill her” will terminate her storyline, the other two options lead to different results. If you’ve raped Zenelith in the Elf Village storyline, selecting “Save her” will lead to a game over.

• “Save her”

1. 1. 1. Whatever you choose to tell Scarlet won’t affect the outcome.
      2. Choose “Stay and eat with her”.
      3. Choose “Have you always hated humans this much?” to progress. 
      4. Choose “Keep Trying”.
      5. Get tools from Uncle Pete.
      6. Go back to the shack after a few days. Taking more than 3 days will end her storyline.
      7. Choose any of the dialogue options.
      8. Buy Zenelith some furniture and a dress at the market.
      9. Go visit Zenelith at her shack to give her the gifts.
      10. Choose “Peek” and then “Keep Looking” to see tits. Won’t negatively affect the route.
      11. Choose any of the compliments.
      12. Go back to her shack.
      13. Choose any of the two options.
      14. Go back to the shack.
      15. Choose any of the options.
      16. Pay Zenelith a visit.
      17. Go visit her again in the morning.
      18. Choose “Keep it”.
      19. Choose any of the options.
      20. Choose any of the dialogue options.
      21. Choose “To be with”
      22. Come back after a week and join Zenelith for the occasion.
      23. Go visit her again after 10 days.

• “Punish her”

1. 1. Ask Scarlet about the rune.
   2. Go pay her a visit every day. Alternatively, go visit her after three days or give days if you raped her during the Elf Village quest.
   3. Go visit her every other day until she lets you put your hand in her mouth.
   4. Talk with Zenelith.
   5. Get Zenelith some books at Mervin’s shop, a bed from the market and her bag in the forest.
   6. Give them to Zenelith.
   7. Go to the shack again.
   8. Wait 7 days and then go visit her again.
   9. After this, to unlock the final scene, you need to feed her, use her, punish her, and let her bathe.
   10. Feed her once again and you’ll now have the option “Anal”.
   11. Don’t feed Zenelith for at least 3 days.
   12. Go visit her again.
